Starlink in Spain: prices, installation and how it works
Written for people who own or rent a country house in inland Alicante or Valencia and want to know, before they buy, what Starlink really involves: what you pay, to whom, and what we do.

What Starlink is, in one paragraph
Starlink is satellite internet. A flat antenna on your roof, pole or wall talks to satellites in low orbit, and a router inside the house turns that connection into wifi. It is the option for houses where there is no fibre and the 4G/5G signal is weak. It needs a clear view of the sky, which is why the position of the antenna matters more than anything else.
Why a country house in Alicante is not a city flat
In a town you plug in a box. In the countryside the question is where the antenna goes: a roof with trees or a hill in the way gives cuts, a pole in the right place gives a stable connection. We choose the spot on site, run the cable through the walls properly and set the wifi up so that it also reaches the terrace and the annexes.

Installation by Red Huevo
150 € to 250 € depending on difficulty. Travel is included up to 50 km from Villena or Beniarrés; further away, from 200 €. Adapters, wifi repeaters or very large houses are quoted separately.
Who pays what
Starlink is contracted and paid directly to Starlink. Our installation and support are a separate service. There is no lock-in: Starlink withdrew its 12-month commitment option for new sign-ups, and the kit is rented and returned if you cancel.

Starlink, 4G/5G or a radio link?
Starlink is not always the answer. If the mobile signal at your house is good, a 4G/5G router from 19.95 € a month is usually cheaper and simpler. In some valleys a radio link from one of our stations works better than either. We check the real coverage at your address first and recommend what fits, even when that is not Starlink.

Questions we are asked
How much does Starlink cost in Spain?
The monthly fee starts at 31.50 € for up to 100 Mbps, 45 € for 200 Mbps and 65 € for the Max plan. Starlink sets the price by area, so the amount for your address is the one Starlink shows when you sign up. On top of that there is the installation, which we do for 150 € to 250 € depending on difficulty.
Do I pay Red Huevo or Starlink?
Both, for different things. The Starlink service is contracted and paid directly to Starlink. Our installation and support are a separate service that we charge once. We do not resell the Starlink plan.
Is there a lock-in period?
No. Starlink withdrew its 12-month commitment option for new sign-ups. The kit is rented and returned if you cancel.
Can you install Starlink if I do not live in Spain all year?
Yes, as long as the house is in our area. Tell us how you use the house and we will tell you how to set it up.
Do you speak English?
Yes: Spanish and English, on WhatsApp and by phone, 8:00–14:00 and 17:00–19:00 (Spain time).
What if Starlink is not the right option for my house?
Then we say so. If the 4G/5G signal at your house is good, a 4G/5G router can be cheaper and simpler; in some places a radio link is better. We check before we sell.
